Redeemer Cemetery

Our History

Redeemer Cemetery is a resting place of distinction. It is owned and operated by The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Ramsey, New Jersey. The land was a generous gift of Mr. Luther Bogart, a former resident of Mahwah and a member of the church. The cemetery consists of 13 acres, situated between Pulis Avenue and Fardale Road. Located in a beautiful valley, one feels the calm, restful dignity that pervades. Today our cemetery has rolling green, manicured lawns, graceful trees (some well over 100 years old), and colorful flower beds that combine into a landscape of unforgetable beauty.

Redeemer Cemetery is a proud member of the New Jersey Cemetery Association, and abides by all the rules and regulations governing cemeteries in the State of New Jersey.

Our Philosophy

Redeemer Cemetery is a park-like setting, dedicated to the belief that the last resting place of a loved one should reflect hope, peace and beauty. We are dedicated to the philosophy that every family member may be spared distess, at their greatest time of need -- determining their loved ones final resting place.
